Person-centred, CBT, and psychodynamic approaches to create therapy that adapts to each person's unique needs

Whether you've lost someone you love or something that defined you, we'll work through the waves together at your own pace.

Your experiences don't have to define your future. We'll process what happened safely, helping you reclaim your sense of self.

When overthinking takes over and worry feels constant, we'll find practical ways to quiet the noise and regain control.

I've seen firsthand how fast-paced, task-driven environments often leaves little space for the deeper, emotional side of people's experiences. This insight led me to become a counsellor, completing my diploma and developing expertise across three modalities - person-centred, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy.
What sets me apart is my commitment to genuine therapeutic partnership. I believe in collaborative decision-making, where clients are active participants in their own healing journey. My approach is flexible and responsive, whether someone needs structured CBT sessions for specific challenges or longer-term exploratory work.
Currently expanding my practice to include Internal Family Systems and somatic approaches, I continue to develop my therapeutic toolkit to better serve my clients. Running North of Now from my home practice allows me to create the calm, unhurried environment I believe therapy deserves. Here, there's time for real connection, space for genuine understanding, and room for each person's unique journey - because good therapeutic relationships are where real progress happens.
Every client receives an integrative, tailored approach drawing from person-centred, CBT, and psychodynamic modalities. Sessions adapt to what each person needs - whether that's practical worksheets and exercises, crisis support, or simply space to be heard.
The focus is always on building a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to lead their own healing journey. Future development includes Internal Family Systems and somatic practices, as Tina continues expanding her therapeutic toolkit to better serve client needs.
Short-term structured work (6-12 sessions) Evidence-based CBT for specific challenges like overthinking, anxiety, or targeted problems. Clear structure, practical tools, measurable progress.
Open-ended exploratory therapy Deeper psychodynamic and person-centred work for those ready to explore patterns, understand themselves better, and work through complex experiences at their own pace.

"I was nervous about online therapy, but Tina made it feel natural from day one. She really listens without judgement and knows exactly when to offer practical tools or just give me space to work things through. A few months in and I'm handling life in ways I never thought possible."
